Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah is Tom Weiskopf's final design, completed with Phil Smith and opened in 2023 across ancient black lava fields near St. George. Fairways 70 to 100 yards wide keep the 7,500-yard resort course playable, and in 2024 it hosted the PGA Tour's first Utah event in more than 60 years.
